Why Do I Have Mosquitoes?
Mosquitoes will go wherever they can find food and, more importantly, breed. Food sources are relatively easy to find as long as there is ample wildlife or human populous in an area. But breeding grounds can be a little harder to find as mosquitoes require a standing water source to reproduce. Female mosquitoes need a thin film of water where they can lay their eggs. As long as that film remains undisturbed, any eggs laid will hatch within a short amount of time. Before long, the area around it will be swarming with mosquitoes! So if you have standing water on your property, you can expect to have mosquitoes as well.
